It's the only thing that makes sense that the Maple Leafs and Avalanche would be talking about in a trade. MURRAY has been playing very well lately and Avs just got Manson and Byram looking promising for return.

Free up money for Toronto and it would work from Avalanche and give extra 3rd line scoring power for next 2 years.

^ IF Byram is healthy, it could make sense, but Murray has put together a stretch of a few very solid games, and against good opponents.
Girard has had a terrible season, out with an injury right now but he could be a part of a hockey trade come deadline time, especially to a team that needs PP help.
