They would need to make at least one big move to be cap compliant.

If they get bounced early, I assume they would trade Nylander or Marner at the draft. In both scenarios they become cap compliant.

If they do well, they would move on from a guy like Kerfoot or potentially trade Crouse after using him for the playoffs.

If they believe in Kall and Velj as goalies, they don't resign Campbell. If they do sign him, I would be comfortable at 3.5-4m a year for 3-4 years.

I also don't think Mikheyev resigns... But I want him back.

Either way, they could make the cap work quite easily. They would have no issues moving a guy like Kerfoot, Crouse or Nylander.

Read description. I think they could get out of the cap situation quite easily.

If they get bounced early, they will trade Marner or Nylander for sure at the draft. For example, trading Nylander at the draft for a good prospect and a top 10 pick. and then their team is fully compliant with Kerfoot and Campbell signed.

If they chose to keep the core 4, a guy like Kerfoot would be moved out and I assume Mikeyev won't be resigned.

Cap hell is San Jose Sharks.

This would need some cap moves but far from difficult to sort.

Their not moving Marner. Nylander and Kerfoot should be gone no matter what if they plan on contending down the road. Nylander shows ZERO effort 80% of the time

Nylander is a big game player. You will see him at full effort in the playoffs. When it matters most you will see him rise.
