This would be the ABSOLUTE MOST NYR would give up. If it takes them out of the running, oh well. Drury is going to hang onto his assets rather than overpay for someone.

you know what's worse then a delusional Canucks fan?

A rangers fan who thinks that Drury can buy elite cheap with this markets prices or "rangers are not contenders" they are not in the market to be buyers and will hang on to their assets.

Last year, you did not see Montreal make any blockbuster trade. The highest pick they gave up was a 3rd round pick.
St Louis did not make a trade.
Minnesota did not make a trade.

In 2019, Flames highest pick traded was a conditional 4th.
Islanders did not make a trade.
Hurricanes did not make a trade.
