Not too sure about those trades. The Hossa one might be the most realistic, but Arizona is rebuilding and wouldn't want to add a 38-year old. The Hawks would not get back Henrique in that deal, as that is a salary-cap dump, and no team will want to take on a 32-year old who is only getting slower as the league gets faster; oh, and the 7 years remaining on his contract. That looks like an awful trade for Crawford, who is hovering around the elite stage. Don't flame me for saying elite, I said hovering. In any trade, Crawford would likely get the most return (unless they deal Hjalmarsson). This is all coming from someone who has played hockey his whole life, and diehard Hawks fan..

Darling at 4mil no
Hossa deal- eh don't see him leaving
no way NJ gives up picks and Henrique to take on seabrooks 7 year deal.

Also, 11.8 cap space - 3.6 in overages = 8.2 cap space. Use it!!

Unfortunately, Darling will get around that on the open market. I would hope he takes around 3 to stay in Chicago, if they offer the #1 job. Completely agree with the Seabs trade

The Hossa and Seabrook deals are very unrealistic due to their term and cap hits. We would have to be the one throwing picks in

Hossa -- recapture penalty. Seabrook -- ...wow... Both will be Hawks till their contracts expire.
