I think if Dubas’ job is truly on the line, he does absolutely everything he can to ice a team that makes a deep run. They could potentially have a top 3 D in the league with:
Reilly/Chychrun
Gio/Brodie
Muzzin/Sandin

That doesn't even get Chychrun, And after acquiring Girodano i don't see Dubas even going after Chychrun.
