LAK say no, and Habs should definitely try to make a team overpay for Lehkonen.

lak want to had scoring and the dg said in maybe january? they wanted to find another scoring forward at a good price like they did for arvidsson but maybe less.. they paid a 2nd and a 3rd for arvidsson. habs have scout a lot the kings lately so because hoffman fitt that description i see him there, and i dont think the return is pricy at all, they dont have place for all their prospect and a-dolan is currently in the ahl (well he was? maybe he got call up and didnt see but last time i saw it he was with the reign. he's in last year of elc,

for lehkonen they should but i just think less and less it will happen ... i only did what i think that have a chance to happen. but i would be very happy if the habs can have an 1st + an A Prosp or something like that. if they move i see about 3 trade hapenning, if they dont move at all, perreault will be gone only but i still hope they trade kulak and i thought even if hoffman name isnt mention elsewhere, it was having sense for both mtl and lak. it much possible habs will retain wideman because right now we thin on dmen.. and they want to let the one in laval in laval with all injured dmen there, but we'll see what happen in a couple of hours. was just trying to put a realistical, trade deadline if anything happen for us.

Over the last 20 games, we're getting half a point a game out of Arthur Kaliyev, who is a rookie on an ELC and playing on our fourth line, so why would we want Hoffman? He turns 33 at the beginning of next season and is signed for another season after that, has a high cap hit, has been declining for the past three seasons, and is a defensive liability in no way comparable to Viktor Arvidsson. I doubt that we'd pick him up off waivers. Forwards are not our need right now unless they are current scorers, not former scorers.
