Description

offence stays the same except holloway plays top 9 maybe top 6 which leaves foeg the odd man out and possibly a trade piece for the oilers at the 2023 TDL. ZAR is top 10 in hits and adds physicality to a team that needs it. the more this offence plays together and grows the better it gets

oilers better pray keith retires because this defence core has the potential to be top 5 in the leauge. chych besides having a down year (can blame the quality he plays with) is a elite defenceman. kulak should be resigned as he is elite defensively and is a playoff performer and lybushkin is a great physical number 6 dman.

the oilers long awaited goalie finally comes with villie husso. based off the vejmelka and forsberg extensions i have husso around 3.5-4 million and i think the oilers would overpay at this point. husso and skinner can be a very good tandem and with the d core in front of them they should do well.

this team imo is at least confrence finals material and the chychrun deal is kind of an overpay on edmontons side as well

Honestly, really like all this. I would prefer to keep Barrie in the lineup, but with the additions and contract raises needed, I can see how that would be tough in this scenario.

i think theres lots of leverage on kane cuz his past but looking back id probably only sign him to a 1 year 5 mill deal because of bouch and skinner contracts expiring
