Do not want to lose Letang if he wants his 5 years then fine, he'll likely take a little less for the extra year(s)
I really hope Geno meant it when he said he wasn't worried about money. definitely need him to take a haircut if we want to keep Rust as well.
Rust is so underrated it's not even funny. Every line he plays on seems to get hot. Losing him would be a much bigger blow then is being let on. Think he'd be willing to take a similar contract to Guentzel and I would give him that in a heartbeat.
No clue what Rackell will demand, but has not been overly special this season or the last couple so maybe his value drops a little and the pens could get him at a discount for a few years.
Heinen and E-rod got off to hot starts, but have cooled off and are what they are. If a little money is needed, moving a LHD or Zucker is where you start.
