Not sure why zboril would stick with the bruins.

My thought process is maybe there isn’t much interest in him from other teams coming off of a significant ACL injury and comes back on a one year prove it deal that he can play but ya if any-team offers him a contract he’s probably gone

The problem is he could be play well and still wind up a healthy scratch, the bruins blue line is deep. How does that help him prove anything?

The defense is deep but he’s definitely better than Clifton if he can play on the right side. But then again I don’t understand Cassidy’s infatuation with Clifton and why he is still in the lineup over Reilly. Because he’s a RD? He is the worst defenseman on the ice every game. Why don’t the bruins run Reilly and put Fortbort on the right side.

Clifton is fine, and the best suited for the 3RD role.

The point is, sticking in Boston and gambling that things works out seems like a really bad option when compared to going to one of the teams lower down in the standings and fighting for top four time, not bottom pair time.

A lot more in line with the kind of off-season I expect. Well done.

Lazar, like 4th liners before him, has priced his way out of Boston. McLaughlin likely takes his spot. Zboril is gone. He asked for a trade 2 years ago. He was gifted UFA status. He’s not sticking around.
