Lee-Nelson-Beau has been an incredible line this season. no idea why we would change it. the forwards to go would be Palms or Bails. Not Beau.

and it would likely be a Wilde, Bellows and a 1st for Chychrun. not all of that.

The forward group is going to be extremely slow without Beauvillier - he's one of the few that can create separation

hes also heating up, young, under team control as an RFA in a year and is besties with Barzal. I think that a top 6 of X-Barzal-Wahly then Lee-Nelson-Beau is the future for us. find that elite player with Barzal and 3rd line is a mix of JG, Bailey, Parise, Palms, and Bellows. then defense is just missing the 2LD. But we truly are 2 pieces away from being real contenders

It's going to be another Devon Toews situation where he lights it up on another team, half the fanbase will be in denial.

I agree, I just have no faith in Lou to get that done. We need an average 2LD, not some stud and he's going to overpay for someone who's not that good.

Maybe this is just homegrown bias kicking in but I don't like moving Beau. I feel like he'll have a bounce back year next season, and he's shown up consistently in the playoffs.

hes either gonna overpay or go after some random 33 year old unfortunately. I just want to see youthful players. like anything under 30 even.

not even next year. he is really playing well right now. with Lee and Nelson, he has finally found his spot in the lineup. he is becoming one of our best forwards as a speedy playermaker who can still use his shot and be annoying to play against

Yeah I really like that line. Saw them against Detroit at UBS and they seemed to be in perfect sync.
