Description
traded for Reilly he and dobson will be a good offensive pairing. than a soucy trade, hes not meant to be a 3rd pair dman but him and mayfeild will be a great pairing, giving salo and hutton more time to develop.
Signed Fiala because we need elite youth and a player for Barzy. I know the fiala trade might be bad but i tried.
Johnston is now full time fourth liner.
i know your mad whally is on the third line but hes in a big time slump right now and don't see him being on a top line soon.
Not trading Varly this season because there is really no reason to. He will be traded in the offseason after we get the cup.
Your asking "well how do we sign Barzy and whally now?" i project beau to be traded and varly for cap relief, and maybe even palms, becasue we will have Raty on the verge of being NHL ready.

Wahlstrom is in a big time slump right now so he won’t be on the top line anytime soon? How is a player supposed to produce consistently with 10 min TOI and no powerplay time? Can you name even 1 young player who’s been able to do that over the last 5 seasons?

That Fiala trade is bad for Minnesota like really bad. Those pieces have no value for Minnesota. But as a blues fan I hope you become the Wild GM and accept that trade for them smile

Whally is playing with barzy and isn't producing, both of them aren't. Whally produced better with jgp. And trotz isnt giving him shift time so it shows that trotz isnt a fan of what hes been doing.

Wahlstrom gets 4th line minutes even playing with Barzal. They generate a ton of quality chances and dominate possession for the most part, which is just as important as producing.

Wow Trotz isn’t a fan of a young forwards game, that’s nothing new. He tried to ruin Filip Forsberg and Andre Burakovsky.

Tbh the islanders need to hit rock bottom next season so they will be forced to play younger players. I hope it happens

I'd be very happy if this were the Isles team next season. I think value for Minnesota is fair, they have absolutely no leverage if they have to dump him for cap reasons.
