Tampa needs Foote more than Mittlestadt. It also makes little sense from a cap standpoint, as if Tampa can't afford Foote's extension(which will be less than what Mitts makes), there's no good reason to add 1.65 million additional cap in the trade.

There's no way Foote will be making less than what Mittlestadt makes.

No way JBB does this under JBB/YZERMAN they have only once traded a defenseman and not got one back ADA that Was more about loosing the person

How much do you think a defensmen with 82 career games with 11 points and under 13 minutes a night with no arbitration rights is gonna make? Lol. He probably gets less than 1.5 million on a 2 or 3 year deal

Yeah, he will. Foote's notbseeing anything at 2.5 or above barring a huge leap forward next year. In either case, Tampa doesn't need to be trading a position of weakness for a position of strength
