Description

Well Islanders fans, we can kiss our Stanley cup aspirations good bye for the foreseeable future. Everyone knows that the only thing that brought decent Islanders rosters within inches of the cup was the mastermind (or should I say, former mastermind) behind the bench that is Barry Trotz. Although Trotz was not good this year, firing him is a terrible decision. Lou has a lot of work to do this offseason to even come close to justifying this decision, and if the Isles don’t win a playoff series next year, I’d say Lou is gone as well.

Hmm. I respectfully disagree, but I don't watch a lot of Islanders hockey. I think you have 3 of the best young Dmen in the league, best goalie pairing probably, 5 really good forwards in Barzal, Whalstrom, Lee, Beauvillier, and Nelson. One of the best 3Cs in the league. Hopefully Raty will play next year?... I think the future is bright.
