I haven't seen any anti-Fabbro sentiment this season. It would be weird, honestly - he stepped it up and found a new level this past season. Much more reliable than he was a year ago.
It's not a trade I could see NSH considering. Aside from trading Fabbro for an older, more expensive player not being the right direction for NSH right now, another LD is the last thing the Preds need. They've got Josi, Ekholm, Borowiecki, Davies already with lots of promising lefties in MIL too. It's the right side where they need more depth. After Fabbro and Carrier, all they really have is Lauzon (also a leftie but probably plays on the right side next year), Phil Myers (likely on his way out of NSH), and 32 year old Matt Tennyson. That lack of depth really needs to be addressed this summer. Subtracting Fabbro from the mix is one of the last things they should do.
