*EXTRA 2 MIL IN CAP SPACE DUE TO KEITH CAP RELIEF*

1. trade bad contracts
2. sign all young players while u can itll be worth in 2 years time easily
3. GET A GOALIE
4. use young ELC players like broberg holloway and skinner

Kane will probably get a 6x6 with how crazy hes played but if he enjoys it here so much i think we can sign him for 2-3 years to try to get a cup

the teams defense will be much better than last year but def not top 10 but bouch and broberg can change that

the offense might be the best in the league with 4 solid lines and so much flexibility

husso/skinner would be my preferred duo with smith as a 3rd goalie as hes really earned his spot for next year with how hes played so i doubt the oilers get rid of him although he might fall off a cliff next year

oilers got 10 mill cap space next year to sign bouch (7x7) skinner (1.5x2-3) and 3 depth players

seattle easy no. barrie isnt getting that and is 100% not from seattle

Just because teams have cap is no reason for them to take on those contracts. Kassian still costs 6m over 2 years, and Seattle can find a good enough Dman for 4.5m without giving up picks.
Far more sellers than buyers. Maybe Kassian and second to Arizona, and gifting Barrie to Seattle might be the best the Oilers could do.

You need to ditch 7M in contracts and hope another 7M retire a year early. Can you get all that done before the UFA market opens up?
