Gaudreau takes that from Calgary, Probably closer to $10,500,000 x 7 years to sign in either Jersey or Philly.

Lmao. He’s not getting anywhere near that number. You’re insane to think he gets more than Kucherov.

LOL Kucherov took less because Florida is a tax free State, New Jersey isn't. Plus Kucherov took less here in Tampa so they could keep the core together for awhile and it worked with 2 cup wins and a possible 3rd this year.

This site and people like you have too much tunnel vision. Gaudreau had one good season after 2 subpar seasons and a very lacklustre playoff history. & that good season came in a contract year when guys are motivated more. That does NOT get you over $10m. That’s absolutely ludicrous. I’d bet anything on him not getting anything more than $9.5m at absolute most, especially with teams recovering from the pandemic losses.

Your opinion is complete bonkers here.

Yeah we shall see, You might be right about the $9,500,000 per. But then on the other hand don't be shocked if it's slightly more.

I’d be guessing more likely around $8.5m maybe. He’s a point producer. That’s it. Doesn’t show up when it counts and hasn’t been consistent over his career. Why spend $9.5m plus on that?
