Which is which

Initial Creation Date: May 12, 2022

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
ALL MONTREAL CANADIENS ACGM FOR NEXT YEAR SHOULD HAVE THIS CAP, IT INCLUDES THE OVERAGE PENALTY AND THE CAP INCREASE.

-d personally prefer to secure Romanov long term south of 5M$ but considering the risk and or cap situation, a bridge is much more likely.
-Wouldn't go any higher than 2M$ for Pitlick, he does produce but we need to see more of what he is when he finally gets a realistic shooting %.
-Too many forwards and something's gotta move if something like this Petry deal happens. Hoffman, Byron, Drouin, Dvorak, Poehling?

  3. 2023 2nd round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
I still adamantly think Petry has good value espicially with how he ended the season showing to most that the first 40 games were a problem between him and the coach. Montreal takes cap back (Put Khudobin here if you like but I think Faksa's relief is better on the long run for Dallas than jsut dumping a burried 1 year deal), a prospect stuck between depth and deep prospect pool at the position and a mid round pick. At the end of the day Dallas sheds salary and get their replacement for assets they don't need at the moment.
DAL
  1. Petry, Jeff
Additional Details:
Dallas gets a replacement for Klinberg for 2M$ less than he'll get in FA. Easy thinking but one that I could fall for.

Yeah that trade looks like something that could happen... Doesn’t mean I like it and wouldn’t rather trade prospects with a team with a surplus RHD prospects. I’d rather they rip the band aid off just fill the roster out with movable contracts for a season or two until we’re closer to the end of Benn’s contract.

LA has Clarke-Durzi-Fabre-Spence even if we got Spence that’s at least potential to fill that second line RHD spot (could also not pan out and be a waste) and NYR are set with Fox-Trouba-Schneider so maybe Lundkvist is available.... but this seems more like the crappy reality that we’re going to get since GM Jim Nill is probably not as concerned about the future as getting his contract extended after next season which probably means push for playoffs now.

    I'm okay with the trade.
If you want to help Wright developp, you give him whoever at wing but hell keep him away from Drouin lol. I'd rater see Poehling in the lineup.
Also I'm pretty sure Guhle will step over Harris at training camp.
