Dude, that's not how trades work. You can't just shovel any combination of assets you want with a first-rounder and expect another team to bite. Why would Vancouver trade their captain (and retain money... laughable) for a package lacking even a first-rounder? You do realize that in any situation where trades are being made, your offer will have to beat the offers from other teams, right? Do you seriously believe that no other team will be able to make an offer that is more attractive to the selling teams than the ones you've proposed?
