Description

Anyone else feel like this is one of the biggest games in Pens history tonight? With Malkin and Letang as UFA's there is so much on the line. The crowd could be one of the craziest of all time, they're gonna be after Trouba and Shesterkin. Malkin has to carry the team, which could play a huge role in his future. Letang and Malkin know if they lose they could never have a game with Crosby again, so they're gonna bring it. Malkin's performance tonight could have huge implications for him too with his next contract. My head is telling me the Rangers are going to win, but my heart is saying the Penguins and I have a feeling we will.

I do not think one of the biggest games in the history of a team that has been to 6 cup finals can happen in round 1.

And Malkin is not going to carry the team. The player that needs to be our best is Jake. He is now our second best player. Malkin and Tanger have to be as good as they have been all year too.

I don't disagree with you guys, I guess saying one of the biggest games is wrong, but I still think its a huge game that could have huge implications on the future of the team. I agree Guentzel is the second best player, he definitely is, but Malkin has to step up tonight as well and lead. Him and Letang gotta fight to keep the run going. This game reminds me so much of game 4 against the caps in 2017. Even if we lose this, I still think we have a shot to win game 7, it's tough to beat a team 3 times in a row. But they need to great tonight like it's a must win. I'm very nervous with Jarry still out tonight though.

Also, I heard on a radio how if Jake is able to have a huge performance tonight and lead the Pens to a win it's a historic Pittsburgh moment. Not that he isn't already, but he'll go down as a legend, even if we don't win the cup after I think tonight could be the game where he's looked at as one of the stars of the league. Pens fans know what we got in him, but what he's doing this playoffs is really special.
