What about Barbashev for Wilde and a pick? Instead of that Foegele trade.

barbashev is an awful defensive fwd and he’s coming off the best finishing year of his career. Definitely not the time for the Isles to buy high on Barbashev. Foegele is definitely coming of a low year but still showed decent even strength metrics despite being a low end finisher.

Makes sense, so you think a trade for Barbashev wouldn’t make sense? Just curious what a return from the Isles would look like. I was thinking 3rd and Wilde

He hasn’t lived up to his pick value at all, He got some points this year but I honestly don’t even know how considering the minimal amount he generated at low and medium danger. For the Isles they really need to cash in before his value completely diminishes in a couple seasons.
