Seeing what Sabres got for Eichel (Good player, top prospect and 1st), and considering Chychrun have about the same value, i think this trade is fair.

Robertson as the good player, Knies as top prospect (less value than Krebs) , and a 1st. They add a 1st to compensate for Knies and for Mrazek cap dump.

I know Robertson is still a prospect, but that's as close a good player as they can give, who could compare to Tuch's value at the time.

Maybe Toronto needs to add Kerfoot for more cap space if needed.

Arizona should do that unless someone is offering a top 10 pick

I don't see why toronto should do that

It's not good for the Leafs and all. Doesn't help their cap and LHD stacked for the Leafs.....Heck even RHD is OK

I admittedly haven’t watched much coyotes hockey, but is Chychrun that good? It’s all upside with the hopes on a better team he blossoms? I’ve thought in other posts that he was with pursuing (Wild fan) but if that value is anywhere near accurate, I can’t imagine there would be many suitors.

18 goals last season in 56 games for a LHD. He has to be one of the best 5 LHD in the league.

I think teams like Detroit or LA will be all over him this summer.

He’s definitely worth a **** ton especially to contending teams. He’s a guy who a season ago scored 18 goals in 56 games (26 goal pace) on a relatively bad Coyotes team as a 23 year old. Plus he’s also pretty good defensively, anytime the Coyotes play Edmonton, he’s the only player that doesn’t get blown past by McJesus (most of the time). What makes him especially valueable to contending teams is his contract. He’s only making $4.6 million to 2024-25, he’s essentially getting paid as you’re 3rd or even 4th dman but plays like a #1 or #2. Plus because of his age and contract he isn’t just a rental, he’s a long term player. Chychrun for sure had a down year compared to last year but several things likely contributed to that, including: injuries (not just to him but the whole roster), new coaching staff and playing for the coyotes in general…a team with a goal differential of -106.
