Why does Nashville trade for a guy with less team control and a far larger cap hit? Especially since they are rebuilding and Jernot allows them to since an additional player for a smaller cap hot that adds 40+ more points

Jeannot is playing on Nashville's 3rd line and is two years younger, Nylander could play on the first line and has another year (also he's friends with Forsberg)

What do you think he will get on his dew deal assuming he has a similar year to this last one next season

no goals and one a single assist in the playoffs for Jeannot? obviously cant get it done when it matters. Fades when the games get meaningful, would wilt like a flower in toronto.

I don’t think anyone gives you a second rounder for 1 year for Kerfoot, but it’s a reasonable ask. It certainly won’t be Vancouver

less than $7M. Maybe $4M max (Farabee deal id $5M for example but flyers beleive there is more production there) You also know you will have him beyond next year as he is an RFA.

But nylander can leave after 2 years. Jeannot may even play 2nd line here next year. Preds would be better off trading him for Fiala then Nylander
