Why is that awful? Pearson is better the krastov and Lundkvist is on the 3rd pair at best... So I don't understand what NYR fans want for him?

Pearson is a 3rd liner at best, and this is the Rangers giving up 2 of their best prospects outside the NHL for him AND taking on cap space, which they're already short on. You very obviously didn't bother to consider the Rangers needs while trying to dump him.

So what does it take to get Lundkvist?

Kapanen, Marino, Zucker, Nylander, 1st for Miller (-$2,625M), Schenn

Horrible deal for the Pens. No 1st with Marino for Miller. The Pens already have a handful of Schenn's

Pens counter:
Marino, 3rd for Miller
Marino, Kapanen for Miller (-$2,625M) (your retention)

I was thinking if they gonna get capspace for malking + MAF and for Letang they need to get away from Zuckers contract. That contract will cost...

I don't think that keeping the big three together is in the plan for the new ownership. Malkin and Letang leaving opens $19M. Malkin would not cost his current $9.5M cap hit, so resigning him would actually open a little on its own. Fleury is just a fan dream.

Also, keeping Malkin severely decreases the Pens need/want for someone like Miller (high end center).

Marino to Miller only adds $850K
Marino, Kapanen to Miller (-$2.625M) opens $4.975M

JR wants to add size and sandpaper to the lineup, this team has none.
