Please read trade description: Giroux is over-payed this year, so that that Stutzle can be signed next year (then Giroux is reduced). If Giroux doesn't want to play in Ottawa (reports say differently) then another veteran to support Pinto is added (perhaps bring Nick Paul back at the $3Mx4year he reportedly wanted from the Sens (his wife is from Ottawa and still currently lives here).

1. Tkachuk is not signing that.

2. Brannstrom is not signing that.

3. Ottawa is better off signing Tkachuk when he's a UFA.

4. Ottawa is better off just burying Zaitsev in the minors like what you're doing with Del Zotto.

Let Brannstrom walk if he doesn't like that deal, I don't really care for the player. (4.) Zaitsev needs to go so that the cap dollars work, so burying is NOT an option.
