Description

Cap management, defensive upgrades and grit.
Attempt to sign Madison Bowey and Martin Jones to PTOs . Madison Bowey can fight to be the 7th D, and Jones can battle with Kallgren and Woll to be Soup’s backup during training camp. Trade Sandin while his value is high.

Something that'd be very intelligent to do is to actually put Wood in the lineup when trading for him.
As for the Devils trade I'd probably want them to take that, big fan of Sandin's game.

I wouldn’t do it as the Leafs. Idiots on CF here are trading Sandin like he’s a meh prospect all of the sudden and I honestly don’t know why lol

Sandin is a strong prospect, which is why I suggest the Leafs trade him while his value is high. Sandin likely doesn’t play ahead of the 4 other LHD on the Leafs next season, which is why so many people are suggesting trade. Reilly, Brodie and Giordano all likely play ahead of him. Muzzin has a NTC, so it’s doubtful the leafs move Muzzin, or play Sandin ahead of him. Brodie, Reilly and Muzzin contracts left very little space for Sandin. Renewing Giordano essentially marks the end of Sandin in TO (unless they find a way to move Muzzin).
