Description
I have Marner at centre, I think it’s likely that Tavares will still be the faceoff guy, and allow Marner to drive play down the middle, his defensive capability is great, they could use him and Marner like the Canucks use Pettersson and JT Miller, interested to see what the do with Tavares on the wing. Also, for the Crouse contract I see him making slightly less than Kerfoot when he signed after the Leafs acquired his rights, but the same term length. I also don’t believe Robertson will be ready to play in the top 6 next season, but I have him as a possibility, a cheap reunion of Galchenyuk or Kessel could be slotted in instead of him. I’m just curious to see what people think about moves like these, they’re not very realistic, just sort of throwing darts. The goaltending is definitely not great, maybe you could trade a kid like Sandin for a better starter, but if the defence plays well, you could see success with veteran goalies, or maybe even take a chance on Nedeljkovic. Side note, I comepletely forgot about Ondrej Kase, could also be a possibility in the top 6, he played great down the stretch when he was healthy.

Additional Details:
Dumping Mrazek is going to cost a lot, and rather than be stuck with buyout deadcap, they could add a bit more to someone like Crouse’s rights.

I like getting a guy who can play both C and W like Domi in case Tavares can't keep up anymore. I think the Pens should do the same with Geno

Yeah i'm sure that Petr Mrazek is just dying to play for a dumpster fire team, That's going to be playing in a 5,000 seat ASU arena for the next several years.

Arizona declines. It will cost about a 1st and 3rd to get Crouse. Dumping Mrazek will cost about the same as Florida paid to move Connolly.

Holtby wont sign that cheap. Nor do I think him and Reimer are the answer. That is a very Grass is Greener pov from you

That’s completely fair, I would love so see a situation they could clear Mrazek and get Crouse, maybe make it a 1st and 2nd and then a roster player like Joey Anderson, also I wrote in the description I don’t see the goaltending as realistic, just throwing out some possibilities

VAN decline, they are trying to shed salary and JR doesn't want to trade draft picks.

Ah that sucks, I think it would have been fair value to trade him home, maybe a team like Ottawa would take him for Connor Brown considering the actual salary?
