Isles test the UFA market before looking at Reilly imo

Yeah, I saw what the Boston Globe suggested. No bias there at all, right? From the CHI perspective... It's poorly thought out. It's not that I dislike Carlo. He's fine. It's more that a rebuilding team doesn't trade away 21 year old cost controlled assets. You figure out what he is/isn't and you roll those dice. You're rebuilding! It's part of the process. It just doesn't make any sense at all.

Chris Wagner is only going to cost you like $200K to bury next season, I don't think you need to be getting a lesser return on Grz by attaching him.

Speak of that, though, I think the Isles would gladly take both Grz & Wagner for a 2/3 if that's the deal on the table.
