Always find it interesting that the Leafs can trade 2m Holl for a draft pick and then sign a UFA replacement for 1m

Who's the pylon? Miller? Then it's horrid for the Leafs.

But as we see, 7th NHL Dmen get lots of ice time due to injuries. 7th NHL Dmen better be NHL competent.

every team in the league should be lining up to offer Liljegren / Sandin a $2.1M offer sheet if this is how the team shakes out. it would only cost a 3rd!

team and then pull a carolina when there star comes up remember john Tavares only has 2 years left thats 11M . Come but dont expect we forget.

it probably won't be an issue because i can't see Burakovsky signing for only $5M. but toronto fans need to understand that Liljegren and Sandin are going to be vulnerable to that if you sign them to sub-$2M deals

then i guess we have to keep the pylon at 2M. we just need a few more home town boys to come home
