Toronto does not entertain the idea of trading for Zucker let alone give up more assets for retention.
They're already in a cap crunch and the last thing they need is to retain salary when they've finally finished paying Phil Kessel.
Engvall himself is better than Zucker now. If anything, the picks should be on Toronto's side.

Not bad ideas, I would disagree with previous poster that Zucker is a top 6 forward, a 40+ pt guy and at 2.75mil probably the cheapest TOR would get.

I like Engvall, but hes no top 6 forward and as a RFA with rights coming off a career year, he'll probably get 2mil (or slightly more if he goes to arbitration). I think TOR fans forget how average as a bottom 6 guy Engvall has been and that hes 27 yrs old.

If the difference is 2 yrs in age and 750k between the two players, Zucker is the better player.

Not sure if Holl, engvall's rights, a 3rd and a 4th is too much though. Take out Holl and thats a real good deal for TOR.

I think PHI jumps at that trade, and its not just about moving JVR's last yr, its about Soucy fitting in on their defense

I like Zucker and that's a pretty reasonable offer for him if they had the cap space.
