I hadn’t heard that Marchenko was having visa issues, last I knew was that he was supposed to be staying with Gavrikov for a bit in NA, just like Chinakov did to start last season.

Yeah, he had said that he was planning to get an Italian visa which would make it easier to get an American visa, but then Italy clamped down on issuing visas to Russians some time in March or April. I'm sure staying with Gavrikov is an option, but I think both he and his wife are moving to the US together so they may end up looking for their own place a bit sooner than Chinny.
