Ik he can but still can't blame it on the coach. Barzal needs to play with players with speed. Unfortunately Anders Lee and Bailey aint cutting it.

Lee grades out well with Barzal to my surprise. Isles had a lot of personnel issues last year but Trotz didn’t do a good job.

    You absolutely can blame Trotz.

I’m convinced the isles r trying to keep young players numbers down like a KHL team lol

I understand that but the Isles paklyers lack the speed and skill to play with Barzal. Y'all got a lot of heart and soul player but you need a couple skilled played to play with him. Going after players like Forsberg and Domi to play with Barzal would help but y'all cap situation is messed up with how Lou built it

Trotz’s defensive scheme made Barzal a 59 point player. Beau can play a big role for your team in the playoffs

Oh, my bad. I'm a CHI fan. I just like sticking my nose in other teams business and getting a better feel for how the fans value their players and all that good stuff.

Getting rid of Beau for Domi would be hysterical from a chemistry perspective. Pretty sure Beau is the only guy keeping Barzy sane of the ice. lol

Getting older isn’t the answer lol

    But having a d-core of:

    Peelch-Pulock
    Muzz-Dobson

Easily top 3 in the league.

Furthermore you clear 3 million in cap to go after maybe Ninchuskin, Domi or someone else who compliments Barzal better. Just an idea.

Muzzin will miss 30 games anyway. Not worth it. It’s an injury issue for me.

Domi has an elite transition game. Look at his 72 point season. It was mostly transition based. That's what Barzal needs.

I don’t disagree, but I don’t think he’s more talented than Beau tbh.

TBH he won't. This was his 1st year of injury concerns and a lot of it was caused by him carrying the pairing with Holl.

With Dobson he'd be a lot more successful as he was when he was paired with Brodie.

End of the day isles could probably move Beau and Bailey without taking salary back. But unless ur getting Johnny hockey they r both gonna be back next year imo.

There was an injury in the bubble too bro. Not worth the risk. Isles will go for someone younger.

I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if they sign Zadarov so Sorokin has another guy to speak Russian with. Otherwise I could even see the Isles bringing back Leddy to play with Dobson. The chaos would be amazing lol.

Can anyone else imagine a 2 on 1 with Leddy and Dobson and then the opposing team goes the other way with Lee and Bailey forced to be defenseman? Lmao

I've only see Beau in playoff games and the occasional Isles v Toronto games so I might be know the best but his transition game is good but no where near Domi's.

It why I wanted Domi at the deadline. Tavares is elite at a lot of things but his speed holds him back. Nylander needs a player with speed to compliment his game whilst Tavares gets rebound goals. Beau has the speed which is why I want him. Ik why y'all value him because he's one of few players that can keep up with Barzal.

Johnny Hockey I can see going there but Lou rules are a little too strict for this generation of players and will keep a lot of players out that market.

Lou is great GM for one thing, and that's bring back stability to a team. Everything else he's steps behind the new age GMs

No he is a ****ing idiot lmao. He traded away the good roster Garth Snow built for pennies on the dollar.

Maybe but Dobson needs someone to stay back and play defence whilst he does his thing. Y'all need a "Marc Methot" so Dobson can be "Karlson"

Domi is only a couple years older but it comes down to ur system. Domi didn’t do anything in the post season until this year. Pretty sure Carolina is rolling Domi and KK out on their fourth line so idk how to evaluate that lmao.

Marc Methot was horrible to watch lol. It’s gonna be Salo or a free agent signing.

Ik but look. at what he did to Toronto. He took a market that was honestly a joke and brought em back to relevance. He did the same with Isles. He just can't be making hockey decisions.
