Pens Offseason

Description
I think Letang is the more important player to resign then Malkin and I'm a huge Malkin fan but the puck moving offensive Dman isn't easy to replace. I assume 8Mil will be enough to keep him tie his contract to Sids.
I assume the Pens will offer qualifying offers to all their RFAs even Kapanen because it'd be poor asset management to let him walk for nothing.
I'm fine with a prove yourself deal for Kapanen. He probably won't sign his offer sheet which is like 850k but 1 year 1.5 Mil
Love Zucker but hes too injured for his 5.5 million hit. Maybe you can convince a bubble playoff team like LA they need a vet like him to get them over the hump.
Vatrano is like the new Eberle. He always finds a way to score on the Pens. Eliminate him as an issue and bring him in. He gets a nice raise and some security with a 2 year deal and adds depth scoring.
Time to move Dumo. Open a spot for POJ.
Sign Trocheck to replace Geno.
I'd very much like to see MAF back. I think he didn't want to go to Washington because he wanted to make sure he still had a home here let him finish here and be the 1B and mentor Jarry.
Resign Rakell he played well and can play with Sid if needed.
End result it keeps the Crosby championship window open and keeps some Cap Space to make some in season moves.
Definitely bring back ERod. I think he had a good year gets a little raise and some term

You can convince LA they need Zucker to get over the hump? If you dont want him why would the Kings want him?

Which left-handed forward does Zucker replace?

And remember, we have Arvidsson, Kupari and Vilardi who are right-handed forwards, too.

It's not that I don't want Zucker it's his cap hit has become to expensive for the Pens

It's not a given that it's LA that the Pens would trade with. I put a team like LA because it would he a western conference team that is close or just barely missed the playoffs for a mid round pick put any team you'd like there it's not like it's a player for player swap

I think so too. I've seen a lot of people say Kadri but I think he'll sign for a lot more or stay in Colorado. I ultimately think they'll resign Malkin

If hes too expensive for the Pens hes too expensive for every other team. No fan of other teams wants him.
