I could see the Sabres possibly taking those guys off your hands- possibly

Ullmark did just fine. A .917 sv% through 41 games. He's a positive asset. Bergy doesn't sign for 7. He's not going to do that and take too much cap. I've heard from CHI fans that Strome is pretty slow, non-physical, and can't really do much. (Carried by his linemates). Idk how much of that is true, but if it is, it's not worth 4.5 mill. Wagner's cap doesn't mean diddly squat if it's buried in the minors, so you don't really have to waste a 4th on that. Also, not giving up our best defensive prospect for someone who might not even get a qo from his team. Would rather sign Copp or let Stud take at least 20 games there.

Ullmark doesn't waive his NMC to go back to that dumpster fire.

No way in hell is Boston trading Lohrei in a deal where the best piece they get back is Strome

Bergeron will do a lower cap hit with bonuses

Trading a 4th to get rid of Wagner is dumb considering most of his cap hit is off the books if he's sent to Providence.
