So don’t sign samsonov and let him wan for free?

I also can’t see the caps leaving $4 million plus unspent (including Wilson).

Big fan of kulak and Nichushkin. Husso seems like a realistic signing too.

I hope this isn’t what happens, I don’t think this is enough change. Looks like another first round exit to me.

If there aren’t big changes, might as well commit to a full rebuild.

I mean that is a weak down-the-middle center depth.

Trade Eller and use the $6mil to sign a 3c center who could potentially play 2c

I actually really like this offseason although I could see the Caps packaging Sammy + Eller for a true 2c in this scenario. McMichael would play 3C, Backstrom on LTIRetirement.

But Kulak and Nichushkin are my two favorite FA Targets
