With what Army has stated, I don’t see Tarasenko or any major changes coming. Without that, interesting ideas. I think Perron is $3.5M x 2 years. Husso is too much honestly, maybe go for MAF? I don’t really care who it is, as long as they play solid and we sign them for 2 years until Hofer comes up. It makes more sense to see Barbashev leave than Tarasenko or Scandella.

Armstrong was asked if he sees Tarasenko on the team next year, and his exact response was, “there is no problem with Vladdy”. Hence he didn’t answer the question. Now he’s not going to give the exact answer either way. Doug’s pretty good but with VT’s value now being restored, I could see him trading him for assets/space before he hits ufa. Could also keep him as the blues are right there and might end up being the only team to beat the Avs in games in the playoffs…also could have won if Binnington didn’t get hurt.

Hofer is good enough to be the backup next year. Currently playing over Lindgren in AHL eastern conference finals

Preaching to the choir, I think Tarasenko should be dealt for a young LD but I’m just thinking it won’t happen at this point. I think you’re right with Tarasenko staying this year to have a really good shot at the cup. Injuries killed the Blues this year. Yeah the Avs outplayed us, but we had more resilience.

Idk about next year, I’d give him the starting AHL role all year next year and re-evaluate from there.

This is just dumb
Sure maybe the value is fair
But AZ says not STL says VT says no
Like it just doesn’t make sense for any team
Also why would Minny do us a favor let alone when they already have 3 other versions of Scandella there already who are cheaper
