Description

Tkachuk Trade is made with the known that he has already stated wanting to get out of Calgary and being a UFA at the end of the year. Calgary gets some nice pieces to build with or set up a rebuild with and some picks.

Boston gets its toughness and skill that is much needed moving forward.

Carlo is of no interest to Calgary. We already have 2 RD that work. Also to get Tkachuk to sign you are going to need at least another 2 million on his contract

Carlo is not close to Tkachuk. None of those other pieces help at all. Does everyone realize Tkachuk had 42 goals and over 100 points?

Nope people still think he's a struggling winger that wants out and has19 goals and 42 points in 56 games

He also saw a 44% increase in production this year compared to his 3 previous seasons. With that being said at worst he' still a 30G/40A guy.

This is in the case that everyone knows he is not staying in Calgary, I think that is a fair package under those circumstances

I wouldn't disagree on the value in general. A 1st + Top 4 RHD + Top 40 goal scoring LW + Top Prospect is a pretty good haul. The big question is do those pieces fit with CGY needs, thus holding the same value in CGY's eyes.

absolutely, that is the common question there. I think Calgary has an extremely interesting ahead of them this year with Gaudreau and Tkachuck next year and decisions to make moving forward

I am just saying if Calgary decides to go that route and Tkachuk does want to leave, which was rumored in years prior that, this is a realistic possibility he does get moved.
