I do like this if Robertson has a solid camp. Trading Kerfoot hurts because he's so versatile and can play up and down that I think if you trade him, you're basically just trying to find someone like him anyway.

Ya. I just feel that we won’t be able to resign kerfoot. He’s gonna command 4+ next contract if he puts up another 50+ season.

I know it's annoying because this franchise has let people walk to UFA and not get anything in return, but this is likely Dubas and Shanahan's last chance if it doesn't work, so I don't think they'll care about keeping him and letting him walk for nothing.
