Vegas will not deal for Ovechkin. They will draft to build their team. Trading for an aging Ovechkin would doom the organization. Plus, Ovechkin does have a modified no trade clause and I am pretty sure will not want to go to Vegas.

ovechkin might be traded... it wont be to vegas

goalies arent traded for top pair dmen... plan on giving winnipeg more.

convincing anyone to take orpik would be one hell of a good move but think you need to plan on being stuck with him.

i believe washington should make changes but i think yours are a little bit unfair to other teams wishes

I understand the frustration of Cap fans. Winning the cup is the only definition of a successful team. I'm not a "everyone is a winner" guy, the Caps are very, very good. with that are a ton of expectations. Once your in the playoffs, anything is possible. If I were the caps, I would resign Alzner and Kuznetsov and give it another go.

Orpik might not be a completely nuts one. He could be "payment" for Vegas taking a lot of the Caps front office guys. Washington sure didn't raise a stink about it. Maybe taking Orpik was arranged as part of the deal for the FO guys.

I'd much rather sign Brendan Smith than Alzner.
