Using Eichel trade as DeBrincat comp just to see

Created by: JackHughesELITE

Description
Most comparable big recent trade is the Eichel trade. Eichel was coming off injury and didn't want to play for BUF so scenario a little different but imo Holtz is a better prospect than Krebs and 2OA is way better than the top 10 protected pick BUF got. Not a perfect trade comp, Eichel has higher positional value and was locked up for longer but just wanted to see what it would look like.

Cat gets more than Eichel. He's healthy. Eichel was coming off neck surgery. Holtz is a nice piece though.

Alex DeBrincat isn't Jack Eichel, And technically you're still missing a piece or two to the Hawks if that were the case.

It's also the 2OA? This is actually more than I've seen some Hawks fans propose. I've seen Holtz + 2OA, there's more here than just that. Eichel is also a center with a contract already for the next 4 years. This package is also more than Eichel's package? Holtz > Krebs and 2OA > Top 10 protected 1st rounder. It's just kind of the base that's the same.

Really don't think I am as some Hawks fans have proposed Holtz + 2OA, this adds a 2nd rounder and a roster player. You're right, DeBrincat isn't Eichel, I just used the Eichel trade as a base.

Not really Cat was on pace for 50 last year and had it not been for the whole team ****ting the bed the first 10 games this year he very easily could’ve hit 45+. Not many pure goal scorers like that out there and with the likelihood of competition for Cat a team is likely to overpay. Plus Cat isn’t a liability in the defensive zone and would honestly be a great fit on Hughes’ wing

Idk that's way too much I wouldn't do.
