Kings prospects are struggling because they arent playing. The top picks were scratched and didnt play in the nhl or ahl playoffs. How insane is that? No powerplay time in the pros or minors. In the NHL they were sometimes getting 8 minutes a game or less. Iafallo and Kopitar on the top line and top powerplay unit was a joke and didnt change it once all year.
There are some serious development and coaching issues in LA that are being ignored. They need to get rid of Kopitar and possibly Doughty and stop horsing around like they are a contender.

to be fair the ice time problem is the same as laf and kakko are facing with the rags.

Yea its a similar situation. At least the Rangers kept Laf and Kakko in the NHL for 2 years though to figure it out and get some experience. Turcotte has only been given less than 10 games and had to play next to the corpse of Dustin Brown. Brown was a pylon this season.
I would love to get Kakko on the Kings!
