Commit the money you gave to Maatta to Copp instead (it will take around $5.5 mil to re-sign him probably) and the roster looks great. May need to trade Reaves to make more cap space but agree that trading Nemeth has to be the priority. I'll even trade a 2nd round pick to get it done.

There’s no chance your getting Copp that cheap and Kakko costs more too

Coop’s minimum is going to be 6 and 30 like Pageau, but I could see him getting as high as 7 and 49 on the open market. Not saying he’s worth that much, but teams overpay for guys like him.

Agreed. If he does, it won't be with the Rangers.
