Have to imagine to have to give up more to dump Nemeth....he's such a negative asset.

You're probably right. Made a tweak to his salary and also added Nils Lundkvist to the Nemeth package with a third rounder coming back. It's just a starting point. Hopefully they can unload his full salary instead of retaining or buying him out.

As desirable a market as NYC is for some players I don't see guys like Copp and Vatrano taking discounts in their prime earning years. You don't see too many players taking discounts in NY because of the tax burden there.

0 chance Rangers offer that to take on Nemeth's contract. Copp will get longer term and more AAV than that. I would love Motte back at $1.5M but i think someone offers more than that in FA.
