Although this team lacks a true goal-scorer that could be acquired through a trade for Fiala, Pasta, or DeBrincat, or by signing someone like Gaudreau or Forsberg, I think this team would have a better chance to succeed.

Beauvillier—Barzal—Wahlstrom: Super speedy top-line that should be able to fly through the neutral zone and generate a lot of offense
Lee—Nelson—Palmieri: Although lacking a bit of speed and play-making, this would be a physical line that should still be able to generate goals through Lee’s net-front prescience and Nelson/Palmieri’s natural goal-scoring touches.
Parise—Pageau—Puljujarvi: A lockdown third line that would be able to trap teams in the neutral zone and generate offense through a Barry Trotz-esque counterattack.
Foegele—Cizikas—Clutterbuck: Lockdown fourth line that should be able to forecheck relentlessly and maybe generate bit more offense with Foegele in the mix instead of Martin or Johnston.

Pelech—Pulock: One of the best d-pairs in hockey, ‘nuff said
Dunn—Dobson: Fantastic 2nd pair of two young d-men that have great offensive touch and aren’t slouches in their own zone
Reilly—Mayfield: Great third pair of an offensive d-man in Reilly and a lockdown d-man in Mayfield

Sorokin—Comrie: Sorokin would take the next step into being the Isles true #1 goalie, likely playing 55-60 games. Comrie has proven that he is a good backup and I would feel comfortable with him playing close to 30 games.
