If Keith retires, why not keep Kane over Puljujarvi?

Kassian and Barrie trades are tough without taking money back in a trade.. Though I agree Kane is likely gone.

I think Barrie is worth at least a 2nd. And Kassian trade will cost a 2nd. Kelfbom is LTIR. Plus Kraken get some guys who might provide some help on a lower end team.

Kulak was really good and to me has shown he could play top 4. Who replaces him. I think a full year with him covers us for injuries as well

Foegele will be sold at his lowest value and his cap isn't insignificant.
