    Hard pass on the NYI trade. Caps desperately need to keep their picks and prospects, trading both for 1 year of Varly and Panik is bad.

    I added Pánik for cap reasons. I think we have one more push. Maybe I could make the first a second. But Lucas Jo needs to go for his own good. He hasn’t done much and I know he looked great in that one game he played in but he needs a change of scenery. We have one for year of contention imo. Maybe two, this team is good enough to win,

    If the Caps are going to spend a first on a goalie they better be getting gibson or helleybuck. Nichuskin and Kulak probably come in a little higher too, but just don't sign Larsson and the numbers will work out

    With Alexeyev down for the first couple month Johansen will probably be on our opening line up.

    And I don't have a problem moving 1st and prospects but needs to be for something very good. Varly and Panik are not.
