Description

So before anyone asks Yes I am aware Fowler is a LHD. But Reilly has looked very comfortable on the right and Fowler could be the odd man out in ANA. I know some people think it will be Vatanen but he is right handed, talanted, Young and locked up Those are what a team will first try and keep. Fowler though a skilled dman is a UFA in a year and with younger cheaper options waiting for their shot in ANA he might not be staying there anyways. He would be a huge upgrade to Hunwick. Stone is going to be a very desired player by the leafs due his size, skating and Shutdown ability. He also right handed and use to playing 20-25 min so could the ideal player for the team. JVR and Bozak are tough to trade for me but I honestly can't see where they fit with the youth movement and with so many younger options ready to go like Leivo, Lepsic, and Kapanen all ready for primetime. So by trading Bozak for a quality 3rd pair dman, and a 2nd we are upgrading our 3rd pair and getting something for the future.

Anaheim fans think he's worth JVR, Kapanen and a 1st which is stupid, if they want to do JVR for Fowler straight up I'd be fine, anything more and we say c ya. In all honesty Fowler isn't exactly top of list for defenseman I want to acquire.

JVR doesn't get you Fowler. He proved he's possibly a #1 defenceman. JVR gets you Vatanen or Manson but not Fowler.

JVR does not get you Manson. Manson is making less than $1 million and is a RFA. JVR is a UFA at 4 million. Ana dosent have cap space to trade Manson for JVR. Though JVR won't get Manson anyway. Neither will he get Vatanen
