Description

Keep Zadina, he’s only 22. But if he is still struggling with addition of Strome and ample playing time, move for prospect in similar situation (Frost? Hoglander?). Re-sign Gagne with slight pay day, good bounce back and veteran depth. Re-sign Staal, if he drops off you have Oesterle and Kampfer in the system or Edvinsson if he’s blowing the doors down. Take advantage of Vegas’ cap problems and acquire solid veteran goalie and legit top-4 dman they can’t afford. Possibly include a cheap forward like Rasmussen if more value needed. Take on Kassian for muscle and picks.Yzerman hasn’t been afraid to buyout if he truly sucks also.

Prospects who could mix it up: Edvinsson, Veleno and Cossa. E and C less likely to make it. I didn’t do anything with Veleno yet because I think he either makes it and they trade one of the bottom 6

You should be able to get Strome cheaper than that, especially if you're throwing 7 years at him.

Becoming one of the most overrated players in the league. A hard worker who is well-liked by teammates but has brick hands and is not worth 2C money
