Description

Phase 1: Finnipeg Reborn
- PLD traded for Kakko
- Heinola makes the team
- Jukka Jalonen named HC
- They all become bffs

Phase 2: Don't Panic
- Draft BPA, hopefully snagging Cruz Lucius in the 3rd round
- Re-sign our RFAs to bridges
- Don't sign any big UFAs
- Preserve capspace
- We all take some time to reset

Phase 3a: Profit
- Perfetti thrives as 2C
- Pionk returns to form
- Heinola lives up to the hype
- Kakko/Kravstov both take a step forward
- Extra capspace -> Jets can buy aggressively at the deadline
- Also we decide to make our Heritage Jerseys our new home/away while we're at it

Phase 3b: Sell
- Youngsters fail to take a step
- Jets fall out of playoff contention
- Jets sell at the deadline, including Scheifele
- Extra capspace -> Jets can take on bad contracts for picks
- End up with decent odds for Bedard
- We still do the Heritage Jerseys tho

just OS Kaako and keep PLD at that point. If you want a young guy who was scratched in the playoffs and another who couldn't make the NHL roster and played in Russia, a lot of other teams will give you that and at least a first round pick ...

That PLD trade sucks for WPG. Kakko still has potential and value, but he was scratched, Kravtzov was shoped around for a 3rd and nobody wanted him. A trade would have to start with Kakko, Schneider, and 2023 1st.
