Forsberg would already be signed if that’s the contract he wanted, he’s gonna get 9m+ that Letang contract is also an absolute joke

You're probably right, and yeah Letang for 5 is low (again, I was just messing around here) but I'm really intrigued what he'll sign for, mostly how long. He's 35, and I think would benefit from playing in a highly offensive system like COL. But he's not getting anything over 3 years. If you were him, would you rather do $7m/3yrs for a contender like COL, or $9m/3yrs for a team like BUF or OTT?

Basically everyone gets more $. Forsberg gets 9+ on the open market and letang wants 5 years at 8+ million to stay in pitt so no chance he signs that
