Why is everyone giving up Staal/Girardi and picks for lower picks? Not trying to be mean but in my opinion Staal is actually a good player.

Not trying to be mean, but you're wrong. Very wrong. They were 2 of the worst defensemen in the league this year, and I'd be surprised if the Rangers found any takers for either of them.

How can you be a Rangers and Isles Fan and think Staal is a good player? I want your drugs.

For sure someone out there will take Staal off our hands for the right price of pick bribery. I would think the cheapest would be Vegas but then how do we also unload Holden... The problem is they need leverage to get him to waive his NMC. I think the Rangers should threaten to LTIR him for the rest of the contract, claim his eye has deteriorated to the point he can no longer pass their physical if he decides to not waive his NMC. Dolan is fine paying the bills for Redden 2.0
